If you are not pleased with how your fish arrived, please take a picture of the fish in the sealed bag and let us know as soon as possible. Please do release the fish after photographing it or them if you intend to keep the fish as we want them to be safe and comfortable. Releasing the fish from the bag without communication and photographs of the fish ends the “arrival” period and indicates that the fish are acceptable in the condition they arrived.
We guarantee live arrival on all overnight shipments, provided they arrive on the projected day of delivery. Only overnight deliveries come with this guarantee.
We do not guarantee live arrival on shipments sent via slower shipping methods. Shipping charges of any kind are not covered by our Live Arrival Guarantee.
Guaranteed fish* determined to have arrived DOA will be rewarded as credit on future purchases. Credit will be valid for one year from the arrival date. No refunds or re-shipments will be given for DOA livestock.
At least two clear photographs of DOA livestock in their unopened bags are required to receive credit.
DOA documentation should be sent via email to Sales@WetSpotTropicalFish.com.
Images must clearly show the deceased fish in the unopened bag. These images must be received within four hours of package delivery.
Late photographs or those depicting fish outside of the shipping bag (e.g. in a bucket or tank; out of water) are not acceptable documentation and will not result in credit.
Opening the shipping bag(s) ends the “arrival” period and, without appropriate photographs, indicates that the fish are acceptable in the condition they arrived.
*Not all species are guaranteed. Please see the list below our complete fish list for all fish that do not carry this guarantee.

Orders exceeding $200.00 and those shipped via Ground Shipping must carry supplemental insurance. Orders below $200 and shipped via Next Day Air may have the supplemental insurance waived at the customer’s request. It is highly recommended that this is a carefully considered decision, with patrons weighing all options and possible outcomes.
Fish cannot be held for more than 2 days (with the weekend considered “one” day), regardless of payment date, weather delays, or any other scenario that may prohibit shipping.
Fish that do not have an identified gender in their listing (Ex. “Males” or “Pair”) will be shipped “unsexed.” Sexing requests are taken into consideration when catching, but are not guaranteed unless there is an identified gender in the listing.
