Geographic Range: Restricted to the highly alkaline and saline Lake Natron
Diet: Omnivore; Feeds on small invertebrates, algae, and detritus present in Lake Natron.
Average Adult Size: Around 2-3 inches (5-7.6 cm)
Sexual Dimorphism: Limited sexual dimorphism; males may exhibit more vibrant coloration during the breeding season.
Minimum Tank Size: Minimum of 30 gallons; requires highly specialized conditions mimicking the extreme environment of Lake Natron.
Temperament: Fairly peaceful.
